We, the undersigned property owners and residents of Blue Ridge Shores, a residential lakeside community of 575 homes located on Lake Louisa in Louisa County, Virginia, hereby register our formal opposition to the Valley Link transmission line project and all currently proposed route corridors.
The Valley Link project proposes the installation of high-voltage transmission towers standing approximately 160 feet tall, the equivalent of a 16-story building, in close proximity to our community. We believe this project, as proposed, would cause significant and permanent harm to Blue Ridge Shores, including but not limited to:
We call upon Valley Link, Dominion Energy, the Virginia State Corporation Commission, and all relevant authorities to reject any route corridor that impacts the Blue Ridge Shores community and surrounding Louisa County neighborhoods, and to fully consider the concerns of the residents whose lives, property, and community would be permanently affected by this project.
